Overview

Facilities managers are responsible for ensuring the functionality of all the tangible assets that support an organization, namely, the building and its component systems, such as HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) systems, parking, IT services, power, furniture and other equipment needed by the users of the facility.

Facility manager’s responsibilities span all aspects of the design, planning and management of access and use of all built-up assets, like factories, tank farms, buildings, etc. and their amenities.
